Student Expectations
We expect all students and parents to behave in accordance with the Ten Characters of NTPA. If these expectations are not met in relation to other students or staff, NTPA reserves the right to ask students to leave their lesson.
Audition Preparation Lessons
For these lessons there will be a $25 fee (per performance piece) if the director supplies the materials for the audition. If the student comes prepared with a song and monologue, this fee will not apply.
Cancellation Policy
A parent must give 24 hour notice for any missed private lessons. If a student misses a lesson without notice or notifies the director less than 24 hours in advance, the lesson will still be charged and will not be made up.
If the director is made aware of the student’s absence with 24 hours notice, then the lesson will be rescheduled and made up.
Due to the busy schedules of our directors, they may need to cancel lessons. If this occurs the director will attempt to find a substitute with the assistance of the private lessons coordinator or make up the lesson with your student within the semester.
Parent Pick Up Policy
We do not have a lounge area for parents nor a student waiting area. Parents may wait in the mall area. Students are required to tell the director when they have found their parents and are leaving. If you arrange for an alternate carpool, please have the student inform the director with a written note at the beginning of the lesson or send an e-mail prior to the lesson.
Bad Weather/School Closures
NTPA may not close for bad weather, many times by the afternoon or evening most of the bad weather has passed. If you are concerned or unsure of cancellation, please call the front desk at 972-422-2575 or check our Facebook Page.
If a private lesson must be cancelled due to bad weather, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at the discretion of director.
